AGE GROUP: 5-7 YR OLD COUPLES ENTRY FEE: $20.00 PER COUPLE PLUS$10/PERSON GATE ADMISSION SPONSORED BY: NELSON COUNTY FAIR COORDINATOR: BECKIE DOWNS ENTRY DEADLINE: July 4, 2015
RULES: All rules are in compliance with state guidelines (click here) or found in contestant's packets available at Colonial Flower Shop. Copies will also be available on site.
1.Contestants must have reached his/her 5th
birthday by June 30th and cannot have reached his/her 8th birthday of the
current year of the contest.
2.All contestants must be a FULL time resident of
Nelson County.
3.Professionals are ineligible to compete.
4.Contestants need to dress according to the theme (Summer
Fun) and will be judged as a couple.
5.Parents/chaperones are not allowed backstage during
the pageant.
6.Judges are from out of town and their decisions are
FINAL.
7.Pageant is limited to the first 15 couples.
8.Winners will attend the State pageant held in August
on the opening day of the State Fair.
9.NO RAINCHECKS OR REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN OUT IN
THE EVENT THE CONTEST IS CANCELLED DUE TO THE WEATHER.
10.In the event of rain—pageant will be held at the
Civic Center. If at Civic center there will be a $5.00 charge to all who
enter. (Not associated with the fair
admission)
