NELSON COUNTY FAIR

Contests are open to all Nelson County youth regardless of membership in Farm Bureau!   Scheduled for Thursday, July 21, 2011 the Nelson County Fair Contests are being held at the Nelson County Civic Center at 321 S. 3rd Street in Bardstown, KY with a July 14, 2010 deadline for applications to be submitted. 

Prizes included for male and female public speaker winners are; (open to all participants) 1st place -$100, 2nd place-$75, and 3rd place -$50, NC Farm Bureau member -1st place $100,  FFA participation -1st place and participation plaques,  and 4-H member -champion and 1st place ribbons. 

Prizes for talent winners are; (open to all participants) 1st place-$100, 2nd place-$75 and 3rd place $50, and NC Farm Bureau member 1st place -$100, FFA       participation -1st place and participation plaques,  and 4-H member -champion and 1st place ribbons 

Applications and contest rules for the Nelson County Youth Two-Minute Public Speaking (male and female category winners) and Talent Contests are now   available for submission at the Nelson County Farm Bureau Office, 106 Reardon Blvd, or Nelson County 4-H Extension Office, 317 S. 3rd Street.
